Worship 09

Ok so tonight we went to worship 2009 at the galivan center. It was one of the best nights of our life. I think Jeff and I are forever changed. I feel kinda bad, but I don't think we paid any attention to why we were actually there (eeek) The people behind up had to be beyond fed up, but I really don't care...(again eeek)! God showed us a sneak peek of our little boy we had no idea was there!!! (For those of you who don't know, Noah doesn't handle crowds or loud noises at all, and actually we almost didn't go because of that, but the weather was incredible, so we did thankfully) Well, Noah made a friend!! We have never seen him like this, he was laughing with her, following her, talking to her, dancing with her!!
It brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it. Jeff and I had worried that since Noah was "special" that it would be really hard for him to make friends. Not to mention, he is kind of always in his own little world and likes thinks he is familiar with. We are very use to people watching him and giving us that look of "oh poor kid" or "oh what a sweet heart, too bad he is like that" (which we love him and think he is incredibly perfect just the way he is) and kids usually just stare at him and sometimes will come up and innocently ask "what happened to him". Well this little girl loved Noah right away.

She is a little girl that goes to our church and I had seen her, but we had never really talked to the family. She has the sweetest little spirit I have ever seen in a 5 year old. She was so accepting. In her eyes he was just like any other kid. She was teaching him new dances, she got him to try a snack that he never would have eaten. (He didn't like it, so when she would hand it to him, he would lick it and then grin real big and try to put it in her mouth!) When the people would clap (normally he would have a complete melt down and we would have to leave to calm him down) He would start to cry and then he would see her clapping, take a deep breath and then he would start clapping too!! It was incredible, it was like Noah finally came out of his shell and just grew up right before our eyes.

My best friend Jen and I were giggling like school girls! We were totally amazed! Tonight when we got home, Jeff and I were praying and Jeff was praising God, just telling him how thankful he was to have the peace of knowing that Noah can make friends, and be truly happy without us right by his side! We are still on cloud nine for this little insight we have been given, and give God all the glory for making Noah such an amazing little boy, that the people that know him can't get enough of!!

Oh yea our little princess had a blast too!

Sorry this post is so messy it's late but I couldn't sleep unless I shared it! OK Goodnight!
