Getting ready for christmas!

Christmas is coming!!! This is my favorite holiday, I wait all year for the holiday season! We have so much going on, thanksgiving, Ava's birthday, Jeff's birthday, Jeff's siblings and dad's birthday, Christmas, Our Anniversary and valentines day!!! I constantly have a buzzing feeling in my tummy of excitement. Here we are putting up our Christmas tree. ( I had been in my pj's all day baking and going through Christmas stuff so sorry)

I got this 8 foot tall tree last year on a 90% off clearance. It was originally $600 I got it for 60!! It is prelit, which I was way excited about.

Most of our ornaments are sentimental, I'm really mushy that way, we have one from our cruise, one's we got from our wedding, some Jeff had from when he was a kid, a few I made, lots of snowboarding ones, lots of pictures, we are looking foreword to the kids making some so we can display them! Our little "walking tornado" as we call her!

Noah was so excited this year when we put it up, he kept crawling over to wherever we were, saying "twismas twee" He must have said it 200 times, once we got it plugged in, he sat in front of it and said "light". He was so excited about what was happening. We got video on our camera, but I can't figure how to upload them (I only can do it from my cell phone" If anyone has any tips let me know. They both had a twinkle in their eye!

Today, while I was making dinner, someone left the door open to the guest room, and both crawled in and saw a pile of toys they had never seen. Trying to explain that they couldn't have them was a joke. We had tears for probably an hour, finally after some veggie tales distraction, things calmed down. My lesson today, Shut that door!
