couponing works!!

In december I took a class to help us lower our monthly grocery bill. As most of you know and are dealing with yourselves, times are tough, and money is really tight. I love couponing, it only takes about 1 hour of my time per week and I easily have cut my grocery bill in half. Noah our little guy (with cerebral palsy) eats about 4 oatmeal packets per day...he has crunchy texture issues so he loves oatmeal! I usually spend about $10 a month in oatmeal. Here is one of my really exciting trips this week. I bought 25 boxes of oatmeal for $10.75!! (I promise I left some for everyone else, smiths really stocked up for this sale and I think a quarter of their store is oatmeal!) This will easily last me about 5 months! Not to mention the price, but I also got 2 vouchers for a movie ticket (valued up to $12) So if you factor in that it's like I made money on this trip! 25 boxes of oatmeal and a date night with my hubby!

If you are wondering how I did this, check out this website www.utahdealdiva.com...all you need to buy are newspaper subscriptions for the coupons. If you used on of your coupons it would pay for your paper, but I easily use 30 coupons or more a week.
