Herriman Days Parade

I never went to parades when I was a kid, not one (rude mom!!)  Anyway, I took the kids to the Herriman Days parade last year and I couldn't believe they throw candy!  Even throw candy AT you, especially the teenage boys!  When I told my husband this, he said, yea that's normal...I didn't know, so this year we were sure to bring bags to collect candy!  This year daddy got to come to!  Everything is much more fun with daddy:)
