Almost every holiday they have a "preemie graduate party" We have only gone to a few of them, but since it was polar express themed we decided to go, and I'm really glad we did. There is something wonderful about being in a room full of parents who know what you have gone through. You can tell we are a still a little big "wounded" if you will. Having a realization that life for our children is not what we were expecting, but how our love for them is stronger because of it. Every time I am around other preemie parents I feel recharged, hopeful, and a little stronger. Our little ham, and a very handsome husband in the background!Yea story time! The little girl in the red and white stripes was a 22 weeker!! Completely unbelievable. It is almost incomparable, and it kills me to know that women are allowed to get abortions up to that point. I'm sorry I know that may irritate some people that I brought that up, but I just wish that people knew the truth and could be more educated on that fact. She was so sweet...she had that same sweet completely lovable spirit that Noah has! Her and Noah both have Cerebral Palsy, notice how they are both sitting (it's a CP thing) , it puts a smile on my face....so precious.Who knows maybe they will get married one day!!don't even think about it little miss Ava!making ornaments (wish I would have put on makeup....again)
Santa and Mrs Clause are both NICU staff, Santa was one of Noah's primary doctors, and Mrs Clause was one of Noah's nurses!
