First Day of 4 year old preschool...

So when I dropped him off, thing were great. I wasn't an emotional wreck like I was last year, Ava was really excited to walk Noah to school. When we got into the classroom he did awesome. There was a cute little autistic boy who was crying (quite loud) for his mom, and Noah said "It's OK, you need to calm down" Then crawled over to him and tried to give him a hug. I kissed him and sissy gave him a big hug and we left, feeling fully confident that Noah was going to have a great first day!

2 hours later I can back, and his teacher saw me right away when I walked through the door, she rushed to me and we talked in the hallway....she told me that Noah had been crying for 2 hours straight....well not just crying whaling. Like he was in pain or something. Well I listened to him and honestly that is just how Noah always cries. ALWAYS (he is in his terrible two right now, well developmentally) So I told her that Noah has been on a strict schedule since the day he was born (from the NICU, then I follow "baby wise" like a religion) Our days are the same every day...every day. When his schedule gets thrown off, he is one ornery boy. So I told her it might take him a few weeks, but hopefully he will settle in and enjoy the class. (His poor teacher, I just know what it is like to deal with that whining, but she was a great sport) When I went in to get him, he saw me and cried "Noah get in car, go take nap" His shirt was almost dripping from the tears:( So needless to say, I am praying for a better day tomorrow!

ps. I forgot to put my memory card back in my stinkin camera, so I had to take a pic w my cell phone, crappy quality.

His school is a brand new school, and I thought the pillars were adorable. When I was in elementary this pillar would have been magical to me!
